Lambing Service April 2013

Rev Michael Hepper lead an enjoyable Lambing Service, with Andy Ryland, Diocese Rural Officer, giving an amusing yet inspirational sermon. Chief guests were two pet lambs from Hazelbrow farm in Swaledale. They laid in a cage with straw at the front of the pews and were very content to be admired and held. They did, however, complain loudly when Andy picked one up and separated them during the Sermon!

Andy also brought a tray of little fluffy sheep given to him by a church in Nidderdale. They represent the Lord's flock that he looks after as a good Shepherd. Each member of the congregation was invited to take one.
