St John's Bellerby

This is a small rural parish with the congregation living in the village or surrounding farms. St John's the Evangelist is a small church built in 1801 but rebuilt in 1874. It received a new roof in 2005 after much fundraising, then was redecorated by the congregation, and carpeted throughout.

Rev Michael quickly became an important part of the community, not just because he is the Vicar, but because he is willing to join in anything even to the point of donning fancy dress himself when judging  a fancy dress competiotion at Bellerby Feast!
